Ministry Scheduler - Specific Weeks of the Month
Unfortunately we do not have a way to specify a specific week of the month for service. The reason is because the system tries very hard to balance everyone's frequency of service based on the quantity of spots needed and the quantity of ministers available. In some cases once per month might be too frequent and other cases not frequent enough. In addition, our family matching feature already complicates the scheduling by adding in ministers before the normal rotation is applied. Adding specific weeks of the month requests no top of Family Matching, would leave even fewer weeks for the auto balancing to have weeks to fill.
Here are some things you can do:
1) The Minister can enter vacation dates to block when they are scheduled.
2) The Minister can request a sub should the system schedule them at an unsuitable time.
3) You as the admin can manually tweak the schedule after the system builds it.

You might take the opportunity of using new software to eliminate specific week of the month requests. The week of the month system was often implemented in the past as a fast way to schedule indefinitely into the future. But, the week of the month system does not accommodate the addition or subtraction of ministers very well. With our auto scheduling and auto spacing, you can add or remove any number of ministers at any pace and the system will automatically space them with each schedule.
