Finding a Substitute

Finding a Substitute
You can find a substitute in a variety of ways. The easiest way to find a sub is by clicking on the Find a Sub Link in your weekly reminder text message or email. If you are not able to find one of these emails or texts, you can find a sub directly from the AdorationPro website. Your admin should have already given you the special AdorationPro link for your adoration program. When you click on that special link, you can then use the Find a Sub button on the bottom of the homepage of AdorationPro. Here is a screenshot to guide you: https://app.screencast.com/gXae63TnWFLRC

You will then, in most cases, need to enter your Find a Sub password. This password will appear in your weekly reminder email. It also appears in your sign up confirmation email. If you are arriving on the Find a Sub page from a text message link, the password will already be entered for you.

After entering the password, you choose the button labeled "Make a Sub Request".  Here is a screenshot to guide you: https://app.screencast.com/Q2zYCU2BUM7hB

On the Make a Sub Request page, you will choose the date and time of your sub request. Then, you will chose your name from the drop down list of adorers who are in that time slot.  After filling out the Sub Request click "Send Sub Request".  Here is a screenshot to guide you: https://app.screencast.com/yZle3XDsBinOp

You will then be shown a screen to confirm your request. Click "Send Request" and the system will send a request to the substitutes in the system. When a sub accepts your request, you will receive a confirmation email or text message that the request has been filled.   Here is a screenshot to guide you: https://app.screencast.com/LgBODcfZul2Ih

Checking on your sub request
When the sub request is filled, you will receive a text or email, depending on your preference, of the filled request. You can also check on your request by viewing the sub request log. There is a "Sub Log" button on the homepage of AdorationPro. Here is a screenshot to guide you: https://app.screencast.com/ECvmQmQmMCzH5
The password to view the Sub Log is the same as the Find a Sub password. This password appears in your reminder emails each week. Your admin can also provide you with this password.  Once logged into the Sub Log area, you can view all current sub requests, as well as if they have been filled or not. If your request has been filled, you will see the name of the sub in the log next to your name as the adorer. Here is a screenshot of the Sub Log page: https://app.screencast.com/8cPJ76VnCkIzN

If your request has not been filled, after a few days, do not create a new request. Instead, you can contact your administrator and they can resend the request for you as an admin.
